A Russian Soyuz rocket will launch a Glonass M navigation satellite for the Russian Aerospace Forces.

A Fregat upper stage will carry the satellite into orbit.

The SoyuzFG configuration uses Fregat upper stage to carry especially large payloads into varying orbits.

This spacecraft will add to a constellation of over 20 satellites supporting military and civilian land, air, and sea navigation.
